Le design Precision Balance 8|4® offre une excellente stabilité13, un plus grand confort5,7-8 grâce à une interaction réduite avec la paupière inférieure. l'interaction avec la paupière inférieure, est hautement perméable à l'oxygène14,15*** et est disponible en lentilles surface d’eau.

SUR SURFACE D’EAU
Dans les lentilles de contact à surface d’eau, la surface de la lentille est composée à près de 100 % d'eau9-12**. Les lentilles de contact à mouillage optimal offrent une surface lisse optimale qui peut améliorer le confort de port16. Les lentilles surface d’eau réduisent la pression cornéenne et les frottements, et donc les lésions épithéliales17. Pour convaincre les consommateurs des avantages de ce matériau, il est important que les professionnels de l'optique expliquent bien la technologie des lentilles, en tant que nouvelle catégorie et produit innovant. Alcon dispose de plusieurs supports marketing à cet effet. Alcon a lancé la première lentille avec un revêtement surface d’eau, la DAILIES TOTAL1™, en 2011. Au cours des 12 dernières années, le portefeuille Water Surface n'a cessé de se développer. Le dernier ajout à cette tribu est TOTAL30™ Multifocal, à nouveau avec près de 100 % de surface d’eau 9-12**.
